Jeremy Vander Galien - Senior Pastor
Welcome to Pine Grove. My name is Jeremy Vander Galien, and I serve as one of the pastors to the saints at Pine Grove. I've been happily married to Mandi nearly 20 years, and I have ten kids and kids-in-law (and to this point, one gorgeous grand-daughter) that I'm quite fond of (that's an understatement).
I've been a pastor for about a dozen years, and am very grateful to God to be part of Pine Grove. There is much to be thankful to God for in the people who are Pine Grove. Really. I'm not just saying that because I pastor these dear people. To prove it, I'd be glad to have you join us sometime. You are most welcome, and I hope you introduce yourself. In the meantime, if you would like to get in touch with our church, or with me, just click on the link under my name.
Jeff O’Malley - Pastor of Family Life and Discipleship
Greetings! I’m Pastor Jeff. I’ve been married to my beautiful wife Becky since June of 2000. Since that time the Lord has given us five terrific children (Taleah, Marcus, Dolan, Judson, and Kellen). We highly value our family relationships and greatly enjoy our time together.
I came on staff at the church in October of 2008; however, we have been part of PGCC since 2003. I have a desire for people to grow in a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. I also have a passion to see thriving marriages and healthy families.
Terri Hansen - Ministry Assistant
I started as the Ministry Assistant in April 2014. Along with general office duties,
I assist the various ministries of PGCC.
I grew up in Rhinelander attending Calvary Baptist Church. I moved to Southern California in 1981 and was a long time member of Saddleback Church before returning to Rhinelander in 2005. I have since become a member of Pine Grove.
The spiritual leadership & operational authority of this church, under the
headship of Christ, is provided by Our Board of Elders. (See Acts 6:4.)
My wife, Lynne, and I have been members of Pine Grove since 2001. After working in the long-term health care profession for 40+ years, I am grateful to be serving our Lord and Savior in various capacities at our church. I came to be a follower of Jesus Christ in my early 40’s after being confronted with my sinful lifestyle of addictions. My desire now is to minister to those who are struggling with various sin issues and to help them see that their identity and freedom is in Christ Jesus.
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
"Hello. My wife, Bekka, and I brought our family to Rhinelander and were welcomed into the Pine Grove family in 2014. We have three great children, Lila, Ezra, and Lucy, who keep us entertained and challenged. When life allows a diversion, some of our simple pleasures include outdoor adventures, good books, and family movie nights.
As one of the elders at Pine Grove, I desire to help others and to see families and leaders strengthened through the teaching and living out of God's word for His glory. It is an honor to work alongside and be a part of this congregation while experiencing His steadfast love."
My wife Nancy and I have been living in the Rhinelander area for over three years and have been attending Pine Grove Community Church the whole time. Previous to settling in Rhinelander we worked with Wycliffe Bible Translators supporting Bible translation for 27 years in various places. Our last assignment was in Thailand.
We have one daughter who is married with two children, and we both enjoy our grandchildren very much and see them as a true blessing from God.
Nancy and I have spent many years helping to get God's word into print because of the extreme importance it plays in our lives. We look forward to seeing how God blesses the flock at Pine Grove through His Word as I serve as an elder. To Him be the glory.
The Deacons are responsible to oversee the operational activities of the church as well as provide practical service to the congregation. (See Acts 6:2-4.)
My name is David Richmond. I have been married 45 years to my wife, Joyce. We have 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren. I was raised in a Christian home with Christian values that have influenced my desire to serve. Our family has attended Pine Grove for many years. We have been active in the church for most of those years. The verses I want to pattern my life by are Romans 12:6-8. With these verses, we all can find ways to serve others.
My wife, Nancy and I have been attending Pine Grove for several years and we are blessed to call Pine Grove our church home. We have been married for 28 years and have two grown children, Rachel and Zachary. In our spare time, we like to take walks, kayak, and sit on the patio by the fire spending time with family and friends.
After serving in various ways at PGCC, I now have the privilege of being a deacon. It is an honor and a blessing to serve the people of Pine Grove and I look forward to seeing what God has in store for this ministry as well as the people of PGCC.
Hi, I’m Dave Franks. I have the privilege of serving as one of the deacons at PGCC. My wife Deb and I have been married for almost 39 years and we are blessed to make our home in the Northwoods of Wisconsin (we live in a house, not actually in the woods). We feel equally blessed to have been members at PGCC for 5 years now.
We have been self-employed for over 35 years. When time allows, we enjoy fishing, gardening, cookouts and spending time with family and friends. Together Deb and I are grateful for the work that the Lord has given us, and we prayerfully hope that we work and act in a manner that is pleasing to Him.
To God be the glory.
”For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them”. Ephesians 2:10
My wife, Clare and I moved to Rhinelander in 2016 to be close to some of our grandchildren and our two daughters and families. Our three sons and families are spread about the country.
I was born and raised an MK (missionary kid) in Nigeria and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as a youngster. Clare and I met in college.
Our desire has always been for our family to be deeply involved in the local church. Each of our children is serving the local church body today also. Clare and I look forward to serving the Pine Grove church body as we seek to glorify God together.
Shortly after moving to Rhinelander in January of 2010 (bad timing - I don't recommend moving at that time of year!), we found our new church home at Pine Grove. We value the friendships and relationships built amidst solid Biblical teaching and worship.
We have been married for almost 48 years and are blessed to have 2 daughters and 10 grandchildren. They keep us busy traveling to stay involved in their activities.
We enjoy fishing, gardening, canoeing, and sharing the beauty of the Northwoods with friends and family.
I look forward to serving as a deacon and would value your prayers and support
