ELDERS

The spiritual leadership & operational authority of this church, under the
headship of Christ, is provided by Our Board of Elders. (See Acts 6:4.)

My wife, Lynne, and I have been members of Pine Grove since 2001.  After working in the long-term health care profession for 40+ years, I am grateful to be serving our Lord and Savior in various capacities at our church. I came to be a follower of Jesus Christ in my early 40’s after being confronted with my sinful lifestyle of addictions. My desire now is to minister to those who are struggling with various sin issues and to help them see that their identity and freedom is in Christ Jesus.

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”  Galatians 2:20

"Hello.  My wife, Bekka, and I brought our family to Rhinelander and were welcomed into the Pine Grove family in 2014.  We have three great children, Lila, Ezra, and Lucy, who keep us entertained and challenged.  When life allows a diversion, some of our simple pleasures include outdoor adventures, good books, and family movie nights.

As one of the elders at Pine Grove, I desire to help others and to see families and leaders strengthened through the teaching and living out of God's word for His glory.  It is an honor to work alongside and be a part of this congregation while experiencing His steadfast love."

My wife Nancy and I have been living in the Rhinelander area for over three years and have been attending Pine Grove Community Church the whole time. Previous to settling in Rhinelander we worked with Wycliffe Bible Translators supporting Bible translation for 27 years in various places. Our last assignment was in Thailand.

We have one daughter who is married with two children, and we both enjoy our grandchildren very much and see them as a true blessing from God.

Nancy and I have spent many years helping to get God's word into print because of the extreme importance it plays in our lives. We look forward to seeing how God blesses the flock at Pine Grove through His Word as I serve as an elder. To Him be the glory.

Howdy! My wife, Dyane, and I moved to the Rhinelander area in 1997 and started attending Pine Grove shortly after arriving.   We have had the privilege of raising our three kids, who are now young adults and are walking with the Lord here in the Northwoods.

We serve at Fort Wilderness Ministries, a Christian camp, where we get to use God’s creation to share the gospel and teach His word.  We choose to be involved at Pine Grove because God uses the local church to further His kingdom and it is our privilege to be part of His great work.

We desire to know Christ more and for others to experience what it means when Jesus said, “Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free”.
